If the preparation of the Feasibility Tax Appeal suggests your property is over-valued and a further appeal is feasible, we will vigorously pursue the appeal with the Assessor and the County Board of Equalization. Our analysis and report will utilize the most accurate data and methodologies available. Our extensive local experience and computerized database systems allow us to prepare convincing analysis of your property’s value. This report will be submitted to the Eagle County Assessor’s office by June 1, 2008. Sometimes a successful reduction in value is achieved at this first stage of the appeals process, but often times it requires preparation and testimony at the County Board of Equalization (CBOE) hearings. Many appeals require further attendance at hearings with Binding Arbitration or the Board of Assessment Appeals. We have the knowledge and experience to professionally represent your interests throughout this entire process.
Our fee for representing you through the entire process is $195 plus a percentage of the 2-year tax savings generated through the appeals process. We only get paid if we are successful in achieving a reduction in value for your property. We will represent you through the remainder of the tax protest process. No additional payment of fixed fees will be required.
